Both the front and back seats open to access the gas tank and for storage and there is an additional hatch built in the back deck. The hull was built exactly to the specifications with the interior customized. All deck screws are plugged with plugs from the same wood. 100% stainless steel for all fasteners and parts. The rest of the boat is 1/4 Sapele with Maple racing stripes over Okoume plywood. The hull is fiberglass over marine grade Okoume plywood (from France) painted midnight blue. Engine has internal oil tank so no premixing. Tops out around 41mph and planes almost immediately. The boat is kept in a covered boat house on Lake Dora, Tavares, FL and is available for inspection and a run around the lake. Original Chrysler Hemi shop manuals, original propeller, rudder, mechanical fuel pump and copper fuel lines will go with the boat. New rudder (larger than original for more responsive steering at low speed). New aluminum fuel tank & sending unit with electric fuel pump and water separator. Instruments, carbs, generator, water pump and voltage regulator all rebuilt. Mahogany ceiling planks (replaced vinyl covered hardboard) and mahogany dash (replaced vinyl covered wood). 5200 laminated sides, deck and transom with all original wood. The boat is restored with some improvements over the original. This unique classic draws attention where ever it goes. A travel/dust cover and two classic wood paddles included. The carburator has received a new carb kit along with new adjustable jets, and the raw water pump and cooling system has been cleaned and adjustments made to offset the traditional hotter running ford flatheads. The boat comes with a custom high quality trailer (18' 6") which allows the Classic to be stored in most standard garages for easy storage and access. This beautiful example of a classic was stored in an environmentally controlled storage facility for over a decade, and was bought from an estate, brought to Colorado, gone thru and freshened and tuned.
